About Us Our client is one of the biggest Public Bank company in Indonesia Indonesian state-owned bank. It has branches primarily in Indonesia, but also found in Seoul, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, London and New York. It had 1000 branches and over 9 million customers in 2006.

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Design and Architecture:
  1. Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and reliable IT infrastructure solutions that align with the organization’s strategic goals.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define infrastructure specifications.
  3. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and optimize infrastructure design.
  • Infrastructure Governance:
  1. Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations, best practices, and internal standards.
  2. Establish and enforce infrastructure-related policies, such as security, data management, access controls, and disaster recovery.
  3. Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate infrastructure performance, identify risks, and address any compliance gaps.
  • Infrastructure Project Management:
  1. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and timeline.
  2. Define project objectives, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with project teams.
  3. Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and provide regular updates to executive management.
  • Vendor Management:
  1. Evaluate and select vendors, contractors, and service providers for infrastructure-related projects and services.
  2. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products.
  3. Collaborate with procurement and finance departments to negotiate favorable terms and ensure cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
  • Technology Assessment and Roadmap:
  1. Evaluate existing and emerging technologies to assess their applicability and impact on the organization’s infrastructure.
  2. Develop and maintain a technology roadmap that outlines the future direction of the IT infrastructure.
  3. Collaborate with IT leadership to align infrastructure initiatives with overall IT strategy and business goals.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  1. Lead a team of infrastructure professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their professional growth and success.
  2. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, encouraging teamwork and knowledge sharing.
  3. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for skills enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing IT infrastructure design and governance in a banking and financial service company is a MUST
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects and distributed environments.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, networking, storage, and data center technologies.
  • Familiarity with IT governance frameworks, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or TOGAF are highly desirable.
