Our client is a leading listed health care company based in Indonesia with a long history and well known in the industry. They are currently a leader in the key categories of health care and looking for someone with a strong background in health care industry to succeed this procurement role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors
- Be part of negotiating process with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods
- Manage direct and indirect procurement
- Lead procurement team and ensure the operation runs well
Key Requirements:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration
- Proven experience in managing supply chain operations min. 10 years in healthcare industry
- In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent in analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Has a strong leadership skills and sense of health care business
- Excellent in strategic planning and long term planning
